Summary:
Receives, stores, and issues equipment, material, supplies or tools, and compiles stock records in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.
Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or work orders.
Counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or work orders.
Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as part number.
Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
Maintains accuracy of inventory.
Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
Records material shortages, requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
Updates the MRP system with adjustments of inventory counts and location changes.
Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
Cuts stock to size to fill order.
Drive to pick-up or deliver parts to Vendors or airport.
Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
Maintains inventory and other stock records.

Qualifications:
Proficient on Microsoft (Word/Excel/Outlook) Must be able to read blueprints Must have basic knowledge of ISO 9001/AS 9100.
Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Versatile and flexible to work within constantly changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and able to handle multiple projects Education and
Experience:
High School Diploma.
Must have computer experience.
Language Skills:
Must be proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
Math Skills:
Must be able to perform basic math calculations.
Certifications:
Currently this position does not require certification.
However, certification may be required in the future.
Must maintain a driver's license and car insurance.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift a maximum of 45 lbs without harming oneself.
This position requires bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, reaching, kneeling, standing, and sitting for periods of time.
Working Environment:
Machine shop / light manufacturing environment.
The noise is usually quiet to moderate.
