Vehicle Description 1968 FORD FAIRLANE 500 CONVERTIBLE T-1334 A total of 3761 Fairlane 500 convertibles were produced with an exceptionally low production of only 399 produced with factory code 76 E bucket seats, as is this stunning convertible.
Originally manufactured in Lorain Ohio December 1967, it rolled off the production line and was presented in color code X, dark blue metallic exterior with interior code HB, dark/light blue vinyl and powered by a 302ci 2bbl with automatic transmission.
Originally built with power steering, floor shift automatic transmission with center console,and power convertible top which now includes a parade boot for VIP seating.
Current owner has added power brakes (disc in the front and drums in the rear), GT styled walnut rim three spoke steering wheel and installed a 1969 Torino GT interior.
A careful restoration has been accomplished with subtle upgrades and yet retaining all the original classic lines and features.
Upgrades include; repaint in high gloss MBZ Dunkel Blau (dark blue) Valspar LVB 904 new black vinyl 1969 Torino GT interior new carpeting new black Hartz vinyl top with vinyl parade boot cover new power brake booster and front disc brakes Ultra Motorsports O.
